Mouse 26K Casein Gene Transcriptional Regulation by Glucocorticoid Hormone

Abstract

|
|
Multiple hormones are required for the expression of casein genes in murine mammary glands. However the complexities of the systemic endocrine environment of an animal limit the space of reliable studies on the mechanism of multiple hormonal regulation of the expression of the casein gene and mammary cell defferentiation in vivo. We have cloned mouse 26K casein gene from the gene library and analyzed its tasnscripts in mouse at the different stages. Especially in this paper, we examined transcriptional regulation of casein gene by polymerase Ⅲ regulation with Dexamethasone treatment.
